                               RESOLUTION NO. 19348
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF VARIOUS STREETS IN THE DOWNTOWN
                   AREA MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN ON
                   FRIDAY, MAY 1, 1992 FOR THE "TENNESSEE
                   AQUARIUM CHILDREN'S PARADE" SPONSORED BY THE
                   TENNESSEE AQUARIUM UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS.
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized
       temporary closing of the two westbound lanes from the north curb
       of M.L. King Boulevard between Cherry Street and Broad Street, 
and
       the northbound lanes of Broad Street from M.L. King Boulevard to
       2nd Street on Friday, May 1, 1992 from 9:15 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. 
for
       the presentation of the "Tennessee Aquarium Children's Parade"
       sponsored by the Tennessee Aquarium, provided that the sponsors
       shall set out and pick up barricades, road closed and detour 
signs
       in accordance with the traffic control plan attached hereto and
       shall provide at all times an access lane for emergency vehicles.
